And Robert H. Hemphill, Credit Manager of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, said:
If all the bank loans were paid, no one could have a bank deposit, and there would not be a dollar of coin or currency in circulation. This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial Banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the Banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. When one gets a complete grasp of the picture, the tragic absurdity of our hopeless position is almost incredible, but there it is. It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon.
Matthew 5:13 Let me tell you why you are here. You are to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.

Just Curious
I am wondering how many people out there still come by here on occasion? I have not been very active on here but that will change a little as time goes on. Drop me an email.

Quote by Me
There are those that can see something way in advance and we call those people prophets.
There are those who can see something before it happens, and we call those people wise men.
Then there are those that can see something while is it happening, we call those people visionaries.
Then, there are those that that could not see it until after it happened, we call those people fools.
Finally, there are those that could not see it at all, we call those people politicians.

missing jewel of worship........
Just wondering if you are still out there and if you have the courage to step up. I still have what you wrote in Feb of '06.
i am on a journey
I remember when i used to have a bunch of readers on this. Things have changed. I don't ever know if I will be on staff at a church again. Trying to find a guy you can trust to work for and knows what he wants is hard. This journey has had some crazy turns in it, I am glad the destination has not changed. The best things are the relationships I have made too bad they are all over the place. Kris

Just get a divorce.
I can’t move back in with Mom and Dad.
I can’t move in with my kids and burden them.
I thought money markets were safe.
You can always trust cash.
At least I can use my credit card if things get bad.

Don’t worry, Washington will fix it.
Driving habits, eg., people driving to and from work with no riders.
High Paid athletes.

Anger/frustration about the state of the nation.
The dollar is not worth very much.
Gold is where you want to be or should have been.
Prices are going up all the time (underway)
Shortages of food, gasoline, etc.
Spend the dollar quick before the price of that item goes even higher.
I never eat fast food.
Eating out is a luxury.
Wasting food is a no-no.
Making homemade bread.
Frugal is in.
Bling is out.
Owning a home is not smart.

Friend Day @ New Life Community Church
During worship today the question occured to me.... "what really matters to me".
Things in this life that really matter to me. After about 5 min. Worth of thought.
1. Truth
2. Sincerity
3. Wife
4. Josiah and Hannah
5. Honesty
6. Being able to connect with God
I may add more to these later.
Moved by God's presence,
Kris

This is true...
If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if he will be content to begin with doubts he shall end in certainties.

Anybody know what happened to Rome?
The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance. --Cicero, 55 BC

Hit Hard but....Put back right
Hosea 6
Gangs of Priests Assaulting Worshipers
1-3 "Come on, let's go back to God. He hurt us, but he'll heal us.
He hit us hard,
but he'll put us right again.
In a couple of days we'll feel better.
By the third day he'll have made us brand-new,
Alive and on our feet,
fit to face him.
We're ready to study God,
eager for God-knowledge.
As sure as dawn breaks,
so sure is his daily arrival.
He comes as rain comes,
as spring rain refreshing the ground."
4-7 "What am I to do with you, Ephraim?
What do I make of you, Judah?
Your declarations of love last no longer
than morning mist and predawn dew.
That's why I use prophets to shake you to attention,
why my words cut you to the quick:
To wake you up to my judgment
blazing like light.
I'm after love that lasts, not more religion.
I want you to know God, not go to more prayer meetings.
You broke the covenant—just like Adam!
You broke faith with me—ungrateful wretches!
8-9"Gilead has become Crime City—
blood on the sidewalks, blood on the streets.
It used to be robbers who mugged pedestrians.
Now it's gangs of priests
Assaulting worshipers on their way to Shechem.
Nothing is sacred to them.
10"I saw a shocking thing in the country of Israel:
Ephraim worshiping in a religious whorehouse,
and Israel in the mud right there with him.
11"You're as bad as the worst of them, Judah.
You've been sowing wild oats. Now it's harvest time."

Life
Life is hard.
Especially for people who stop to think about it. My skin is raw from trying to wash the "X" on my forehead off.

Home invasion gone wrong for criminals
Subject: Home Invasion
Published: Apr 25, 2007
Source: NRA Files
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez 23 and Enrico Garza 26, probably believed they would easily overpower a home alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things, they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine. Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buck shot from the 11 year old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. The victim, 50 year old David Burien, was not so lucky as he died from stab wounds to the chest.

I am spreading the word
I am worried about the future of this country. I know things are supposed to get bad one day,but I don't want to carry an us idCard next year. We are heading for some hard times. No chip for my next baby. I think we are closer than anyone wants to admit to having a dictator of our own right here in the good ole USA. Land of the free and "home of the sleepy let someone else worry about my freedom" cowards. Wake up America!!! Someone wants you to not be a slave. They want all your money and they want to tell you what to think and they will want your Bibles after they take your Guns and income.
Yes I am just an alarmist.... you will be too....hopefully it will not be too late.

Vacation Time
I am tacking a couple months off to chill awhile. We are at the coffee shop and Lynde and Josiah are watching their iPod while I check email, pay bills, and blog. We do have a busy month, two showers and going to help a friend move seems a lot to do but really it is a break for us. We are going to do some traveling in the process.
How is everyone? I have been a little disconnected the last few months. Hopefully you have the rss feed and this will show up in your news reader or whatever aggregater you use. Well give me a holler. Love to catch up with ya. Kris
